Welcome - I'm glad that you are here! My name is Katie Silbar and I am the owner of The Be Well Teacher & Tutor LLC.

In 2014 I made a career change from marketing to teaching, because I wasn’t fulfilled in my day to day. I loved the creativity and personal interactions in my job, but I had this urge to work with children. Little did I know, my students and their families would be come my passion. I have served students from a number of different backgrounds and academic levels. I am certified in Special Education and have served learners diagnosed with Speech & Language Disorders, Autism, ADD/ADHD and more. My teaching style is silly and fun, but I LOVE to be efficient with learning time. My goal is to meet the needs of more students in a setting that works best for them.
